george asked: Can anyone perceive the difference between costly Men's Ties and low-priced ties?
I'm an undergraduate and shortly going have to be in a shirt tie running with Engineers and Architects. I more often than not buy low-priced Men's Ties at Shears (like $10 discounted). I was wondering if anyone can see the difference if I begin to use more costly Men's Ties like Gucci, Armani or Prada. Or would the only way for them to tell between a low-priced and exclusive tie to look at the tag?

The patterns and material of a Gucci, Armani or prada neck tie
i think it’s all in relation to the tie brand name, or it may feel special, possibly a softer touch? Or the way how it glows in the light.
Although I feel spending a lot of cash on brand name tie is a waste of money, no one would know unless the brand is visible but then again if one can afford it go for it. It must feel great.

it's easy. first put the tie around your neck with the wider side on the right and only about six inches down on the other side. next…. wait let me grab on of mine. okay so next, cross the wide side of the tie over the one on the left. then put it back to the other side( it's going to be sideways )and be sure to go under the short piece. now take the fat side put it up and through the triangle between the two pieces. pull it down and through. then you take that same piece( the wider one )and bring it sideways to the right and cross it over the knot you have so far. bring it under the section to make a triangular area and then pull it up through the top. last you just have to grab the little fold on the top of your knot and slide the wide piece through it. pull the short piece under it down and that will make the knot closer to your throat. that type of knot is a full windsor knot in case you want to know. try it, it's easy and it's how i do my ties.
